Lack of Thrust

A foggy haze
Blankets the sky
Motionlessly calm
Struggling to fly

The muggy heat
Reeks of listlessness
Lost for words
Drowsy eagerness

Tirelessly faint
Blurred attention
Heavy weights
Slows the ascension

Exhaustion
Bites the dust
Soulless wandering
Lack of thrust

Yes, that's just how it is in the heat and humidity!

Elegant poem, full of pain and feeling.

Oh, I've felt this, too often...

Thanks for dropping by keeping secrets.

I think we all feel like this from time to time...hopefully not often.
